Why would "RAPCRAP" owners be scared? It's another Yamaha!! HELL YA!! Are you Kawi owners scared and dont wanna admit it?! I think it's a tight quad!! Hella props for Yamaha and sealing up the compatition in the quad MX market!! Hell if I rode MX I'd get one! I like my rappy to much though and actually with all the mods I got I could ride MX pretty good on it but for the YZ being a stock quad it's pretty phat! The only thing the YZ has that the raptor engine doesn't is the DOHC and compression which really isn't that big of a deal. Technically speaking the Raptor has WAY more potential than the smaller bore 450 though which means it really cant be faster when both are running the same mods. I just don't understand how we can be scared? The YZ is totally in a different class of engine and it's called brand loyality not model loyality, GO YAMAHA!! Good job on the break through!

 

Well i gotta say also my hat is now off to yamaha for finally creating something that hasnt been there since the 250R. I also gotta say i think with the specs provided that this thing is gonna be more powerful and better handling than the raptor-Z400-Predator-and all the honda's, might even outrun a KFX700. I dont belive they would have detuned the motor uner 40-45 hp due to the fact that then it would be just like everything else and i think they aimed for somthing better than everything this time.

Me i'll stick with the rappy, everyone said all these new 4 strokes would WASTE the rappy..... I eat them all up on a weakly basis at the coast. This ones gona be the SAME way OH NO it's gona waste your rappy like the Z400 the Pred and the K700 did! lol...... time will tell boys
