I spoke to a buddie at Sparks and he said they built that Z to run the 100 octane pump gas, as far as he knew it was not on methanol. It didnt look like a drag bike at all, but I wouldnt like to ride any trails or dunes with no front brakes though. He is having his Z built right now and is not going to run methanol in his. Actually my buddy is the one with that fast Sparks 690 last weekend at Pismo, he just sold that bike to my friend to hop his Z up after he saw that run.

Thats good, I would really like to see that bike run, that Sparks 690 was a mild one as well. It had the mild cams and 12.5 to 1 piston installed. I would like to set a date on which we can meet there again and race. My buddies like to go after or before the big holidays because they have kids and it gets too dangerous for them. But sometimes they get out by themselves and go for a day trip. Bigbaja has his engine tore down at the moment and it doesnt look like the 4th is looking good but I will hope for the best and maybe we can all meet up again. I am wanting to through my bike in at the sparks shop but heck, they said the waiting list is a year but I think my friend said he could get me in and out sooner than that but we will see. Talk at you later.
