What's up with the Scott's filter?? I've never heard of it before. Ya got a website? Sounds interesting.

Oh.. by the way Raptor8... we have Jack in the Box in Salem.

Personally, I don't have the desire too go through the trouble of the messy Scotts filter set-up. Give me a $5 Bosch 3300.....spin it on in 15 seconds and I am back riding.

The Napa filter problem is because they revised the filter application for the Raptor, while not letting store owners know. You should be buying part #1358. I was at my local Napa during a filter sale and spoke to the filter rep while returning the old filter that did not seal. The Napa filter is not "crappy" either. The 358 at the end of the part number designates that it is made by wix, who also makes the one for car quest. Wix is a very well respected name in agricultural filters. That being said, I like the Bosch 3300 because the Napa filter is longer and it is white in color and it is higher priced.

I like the K&N oil filter for the Raptor.

People with blue Raptors have to run the AC Delco PF2057 filter. It is blue and will look real purdy on your machine. People with black Raptors have to run the Bosch 3300 filter because it is black and will look so cute. We wouldn't want our poor Raptors to get laughed at by the other quads because their clothes don't match, do we?

And if you have a shiny rich Raptor with lots of chrome and aluminum bits, then you have to use the stock Yamaha filter with a shiny filter cover/guard. These aftermarket filters are slightly thinner than the Yamaha filter and the filter covers don't fit.

RaptorRacer1 I paid $200 extra for my LE Raptor to get a black frame and plastic. I don't personally like to make a nice looking quad look like hell by putting a white filter on it, so I don't need you making fun of me for it. Have a nice day.

dude just cut a pop can or beer can in half, and use a little weatherstrip adhesive! it slides right on there. you can have a coors filter, a coke filter, whatever.
