My brother came home on his R1 with a new pipe last night. Its a micron full race exhaust with carbon fiber caninster with full race baffle (bascially strait through). The pipe isnt even street legal, but its super awesome. It pushes 120dB at full throttle, and I dont doubt it. He revvved it last night when he got home and frickin flames shot out [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. I was laughing hard. Ill try to get a sound wave or something of it later on so you all can hear it.

R1........ god's gift to streetbikes.....

 

Someone told me that the Craycraft drag pipe is 127db at WOT on the Raptor. I've heard it and that is one loud ****. I bet that R1 was loud.

 

The bike is super fast. Hes had 2 bikes before it, both CBR600s, one an F3 and the other a F4. But this R1 is amazing. He got it goin flat out 160 with ME AND HIM on it and then 175 with just him on it. Its the new fuel injected engine, and she puts out 137 hp at the rear wheel. Its so great being able to take ANY car on the road. Lots of times, cars will speed up, and then he will shift down 2 gears, nail it, rip a wheelie, and fly by them. Its the best feeling ever...

I have a buddy that just put a micron pipe on his GSXR 1000, and it is very loud! Looks good too.

 

Why is it not street legal, will the cops pull you over?

 

the same thing w/stereo systems you cant have one that is over like 98db or you will get a ticket if caught b/c you are supposedly disturbing the peace well mine is 142db and havent gotten a ticket yet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Will cops pull him over? No idea. The 1st day back, cops had a really bad problem with him, and wrote him a very expensive ticket. So we just decided not to stop for cops anymore. He has set up a leg toggle switch for his rear end lights, and when he hits it, it cuts his rear end lights, so cops cant see him.
