My wifes friends 13 year old son just bought a quad and he is looking for some parts. I haven't seen it, but he says its a '86 Yamaha 250 quad. I'm trying to help him look for parts, but this doesn't sound right to me. Does this quad exist, or am I mis-informed?? Thanx.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

It may be a tri-z converted into a quad. Im sure they made old utilities back then, didnt they?

I think it was 88 when they switched the 225 to a 250. They didn't make a 250 in 1986.
