Default YFZ450 in Aug Dirtwheels

I just got the Aug Dirtwheels & they have an 8 page feature on the YFZ450

I haven't read the whole thing yet but they say it has 45HP stock, & that the front & rear shocks have piggyback rezzies with rebound & compression adjustments (I thought the front only had compression adjustment).
they also say it revs like a 2 stroke to 10,750RPMs but still has 4 stroke torque down low.
5 Titanium valves & a coated all aluminum cylinder.
It will run on premium unleaded, the Keihin 39mm FCR carb is the same as used on the MX bike, on a drag race it beat the Raptor everywhere but on top end where the Raptor had a 2 MPH edge on theYFZ.

If it's quicker than the Raptor but slower on top It's probably geared a little lower. Thanks for the info, Moose.

I thought that the new Yami had piggy back rezzies?

Wow that's way more horsepower than I guessed by far. Oh well I don't know diddly anyways and I'm pleasantly surprised with the power hope the reliabilty matches the power.

I think the cylinder is suppose to be ceramic coated, but I could be mistaken.

One of the guys at the dealership has ridden the YFZ. He said it was the first quad he had ridden, that made him consider giving up his two wheeler.
