The 250EX is Shaft Drive and the Blaster is Chain and the Blaster is also 30 Pounds Lighter
They are both good Quads but I would get the Blaster.

 

You will have way more fun on a Blaster in my opinion.

 

a friend just bot a 250ex yesty, and i have a blaster. so i'll let ya know when we get a chance to compare. I suspect the honda more of a starter quad, but we'll see.

 

my friend has one it is slow when it comes to drag raceing it.but on the trails its a nice bike.i got a 2003 blaster

THE BLASTER FOR SHURE modifiable to atleast 60 horsepower. but ive ridden the 250 ex they are so fun to ride wheelies on. i put my feet inside the grab bar while in third, gunned the gas bounced the back and rode it for like 75 yards

 

um 60hp on a blaster is a little off.
with a full ct 240kit it will have 35-40. maby if you ran nitrous you could hit 60. but all i know is if you do somehow have a 60hp blaster that is still a blaster engine its going to be pretty unreliable.

 

UM... HOW BOUT LRD 250CC STROKER. CAUSE VITOS 240CC PUTS OUT A TOTAL OF LIKE 42HP AND U STILL HAVE THE PIPES,REEDCAGE,REED SPACERS,MANIFOLD,BOOST BOTTLE,BIGGER CARB, JETTING, CLAMP ON FILTER, HEAD PORTING, OVERSIZED CRANK, SHAVED MAGNETOS. COUL GET AT LEAST 53HP
