Default yfz stud pattern

G'day guys.

Does anyone know what the stud pattern is so I can order some extra rims to be ready when THE BIKE comes down under.

Thanks Geoff.

I would assume that it would Yamaha would retain the standard Yamaha pattern. Generally when you order rims, the make (Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, etc.) of the machine will determine the lug pattern.

Your just understandably excited. ha ha..............I don't blame you.

The tire size is the same as the Raptor, they have to share rims too.

Spoke to my Yamaha dealer. He told me that the YFZ450's are being shipped from Austrailia to South Africa.

Yippie....... this means we will get them cheaper.

Ok Yammy guys, I'm not dissing the YFZ, I want one but have little dough right now. Its just that everybody is comparing it to the Z. My point is that the 450 is WAY more race oriented than the Z was ever intended.
Compare outta the box

YFZ450:
No reverse (not needed at the track)
Factory gas shocks (No need to buy new ones)
Bigger displacement at 439cc (No need to buy big bore kit)
Bigger carb (no need to buy that either)

Z400:TRAIL MACHINE---> RACER WANNA BE with good potential
400EX:TRAIL MACHINE---> RACER WANNA BE needs a small block 350 put in it to compete
Predator: Don't even get me started!!

I agree with you. I guess they are just comparing them becasue the z was the newest thing since the raptor and got a lot of hype and now they're doing it with the yfz which on paper is a way different machine than the z. It's just exciting with this new awesome quad coming out. Yamaha has the best lineup of sport quads on the face of the earth now. I mean they've got entry level blasters, step up to the warrior, then there's the mighty awesome looking raptor, and now they've got an out the door race read yfz, WOW. This is a good time if you're a yamaha guy to be really proud of your company.

i just went outside and looked for you. they are the same as a banshee and a raptor. i believe that is 110 rear and 144 front?? anyways the same as the other yamaha sport bikes. the rear offset is wider than my banshee. the banshee is offset 1 inch in and the yfz is offset 1 inch out. i hope that helps you out thanks dave
