THE RAPTOR OR THE BANSHEE?
#1
i am 15, my dad said if i could save up for half of a banshee or raptor he would maybe pay the other half. i hear sh it talk about both quads. i know th banshee is the most modifiable and extremly fast but bottom end sucks, stiff throttle, heavy front end, and normal 2x problems. the only problem i have heard about the raptor is the front end keeps coming up. which i dont care because i like dooing wheelies. i think they are both really nice quads. what should i get??

Where do you ride? If you ride in the dunes get the shee. If not I would get the Raptor. I just got an 03 a week ago and I love it. Its very fast and has a lot of torque. Two strokes require more work and are on there way out the door anyways.

If you've got the choice, the 450 dude!
Seriosly, it comes down to how much work you're prepared to do to your quad, IMO. The 4-stroke engine won't require as much regular schedueled maintence as a 2-stroke, but more of a pain in the *** to work on when that time does come around.
You're gonna hear people talk smack about every quad on the market, it all just comes down to what you prefer, then you're happy, and that's what this sport is all about anyway. I really like the bottom end and trail capabilities of my Raptor over the Banshee, put I've played around in a local pit with a friends Banshee, and it was awesome. He's got a Raptor now too, and he likes it more for the trails. If you have the chance to ride both quads, try that. That way you can make a more informed decision.
