My buddies 02 Raptor. He rolled it once and the clutch handle got bent. He left it that way and has rode it for about 8 months. And it seemed you would really have a huge clutch pull and release on it. Now after changing the handle and riding after a few hours the bike just acts weird. While drag racing catching gears are harder and it popped out of gear a couple times. The clutch feels real spongy nothing like my other buddies 03. Could the disks been abused/burnt due to the clutch handle?

The bent handle may have put his clutch out of adjustment, or it may have messed up his cable. Just MHO.

 

I have the same problem and cant seem to get the clutch lever free play the way I want it. What do you suggest i do to get it correct?
