Default Shifter/boot question

I have an 03 Warrior and recently got a pair of Fox Tracker boots... the first thing I noticed when I got on to ride was how difficult it was to get my toe under the shifter due to the bulk of the boots toe area... and I pretty much have to keep it there, which isn't very comfortable, due to the difficulty of getting it in that spot on the fly.

Is the shifter adjustable? or is this another situation where I'll have to spend more money for a shifter made for moto-cross boots?

Get yourself a pair of sidi riding boots. I got them, my riding buddy got them, he has a warrior. They work great, the most comfortable boot I ever put on. The toe box is as high as a tennis shoe, try them on at least, you won't be disapointed.
