At the cost of 39FCR's , I think I would look at EFI
I'm still shoving it through a drilled/modified alky HSR48 single, but will probably run dual 40 Lectrons on my next build, way cheaper than any FCR and the performance is up there with the rest of 'um

Yeah you can get 35s pretty easy off of a street bike and hook them up. I think KMDuner PMed me a long while back and gave me some info about what bike he got them off of and what not.

You need to couple the throttle together, that would be hard to do with two sepperate carbs. If you get a set off of a street bike you'll have most of what you need for two set ups.

Sparks dont even sell 39 FCR's at all. Maybe the reason why the Raptors are more expensive is because you get two carbs not just one. I got a set of 35's from Sparks for 850.00

I got mine from Robertson Cycle- 402 339 1814. I think he might have a set in stock, I am not sure. Call and ask for Mark Robertson. I'll call him tommorrow and check if you don't get through. Zombie

Zombie, Thanks for the help on a connection on who carrys them. I'm not exactly ready to spend 1g on carbs right now. I was hoping to be able to possibly buy a couple seperates and parts a little at a time to lessen the shock. I'm realizing that might be alot of head ache in the long run!

I noticed on Sudco's web site they use UPP carb boots for 35 and 39mm carbs , If these work why are all the 39mm's I've seen on a custom built mainifold? Craycraft, Kenz built motors all have custon manifolds from what I've seen . Robertson's may also I'm not sure.
