Default Question about raptors

Im looking at getting a raptor. A friend of mine has one of those four stroke honda crf dirt bikes. He says that the owners manual tell you to rebuild the top end at required intervals that were not very long.....It is a four stroke so I would have thought that would not be necessary. My question is do yamaha raptors require this same rebuild so quickly??? thanks for the info.

Default Question about raptors

No, definately not. You don't have to rebuild the CRF at such close intervals, either, unless you race professionally. But, the Raptors engine isn't built anywhere near as hot as the 450 (honda or yamaha) four stroke bikes. Unless you get into heavy mods, you'll not have to rebuild it for a long time.
