are you talking about the old honda de sol with the slide down rear wheel? if so i can tear it up on my blaster.

 

No just a regular Honda Civic DelSol, I think 1997. I was just wondering because, my sisters boyfriend has one and he wants to race my raptor. He is convinced he can beat me. His car is stock except cat-back and intake. Thanks for the responses.

Well, my mom had a 97 'sol, (automatic, SI)
I beat it with my stock 400EX when I had it.


But, it seemed like I only got it off the line, then it just kinda stayed back there.
A stick del Sol might have been much closer.

you need to make sure you get out of the hole cleanly. i assume that you are going to race on pavement, so you should try to practice a couple launches on pavement to make sure you don't bog it or even worse, stall it. with a good launch, you should put a pretty decent whupping on him.
