Default Raptor rev limiter

Is it a hard limter or soft? When you hit it, does it stutter or just not rev any higher?

I have never knowingly hit it, I don't think, until today. I hope thats what it is anyway.

Help will be GREATLY appreciated!

I've never hit the rev limiter either, at least to my knowledge. I will try in hit it Saturday and hopefully not damage something, but then again if something does happen, time for cam and piston.

It's soft....like an aftermarket ignition box for a car. This is a bad example, but it's sort of sounds like taataataataataataa.

If you want to hear what it sounds likem just engage your emergency brake and reve the engine. How I found that was at the top of a dune we stopped to talk a bit and I engaged the e-brake. Then when we were leaving I just pulled in the clutch and was slowly realesing the clutch, it sputtered and popped until I let it go completely and it cleared right up.
