WildChild, When is Dunefest? Where is Dunefest? I assume it is Oregon. I got two weeks Vacation the weeks of July 14 and 26th. Sooooo.......I'm thinkin i'm goin somewhere.

 

Dunefest is July 31st - Aug 3rd I believe this year. Its at winchester bay dunes. Looks like you might not be able to go though. Damn I wanted to see your bike run. About those polished sidecases do you remember how much he charged?

 

I had them do a Ton of stuff for me. I had my Cases, waterpump, starter and my rear GYT-R skidplate done for about 180.00. So I'm thinkin the Cases would be about 100 bones maybe. They are awesome guys and their work is second to none.

 

Wildchild is there many 4 wheel drive ATVs at dune fest?? I've never had mine on sand, would I sink?? I can haul beer.

 

Ok thanks again Zombie I will most likely contact them soon. teddytwofire - There are more 4wheel drives out there than you would think. They do fine as long as their in 4wheel but some do good even in 2 wheel drive mostly the grizzlies and praires. Im not really the one to ask this because I dont/havent rode one in the dunes but I have seen many that do fine out there.

 

Sweeeeett!! I'll have to check the sand dunes out, looks like a blast. However, Dune Fest is out for me,I'm gonna be a new daddy by then. Life is good!

 

I would ride in the dunes before anywhere else. They are alot of fun compared to dirt IMO. Have fun with the new baby.

 

Banshee Hill at Winchester aint nothin now. It's very flat, soft, and not hard to get up at all...not hardly worth climbing anymore...been used to much and now it's ruined. Maybe I'll make another one through the trees this summer, or at least try [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Hope to see ya there Zombie.

Airraptor - have you not been that banshee hill in awhile? There are pretty much stock 400exs making that hill. I have minor mods to my raptor and I can shift out of 2nd (downshift from 3rd right before the corner) and then shift into 3rd again when im in the bowl part up top and it keeps on pulling. I can only imagine how fast you or big bubba will being going up now. You ll have to come see for yourself when you get back from that HELLHOLE place over there.
