why does the raptor die when going in reverse?
#1
it seems like every time i put the raptor in reverse the only thing it wants to do is die on me, is this normal or is there something wrong, any suggestions would be great.

The reverse has a rev limiter, too much throttle and it will cut out, might die on you, but mine just sputters and cuts out. You can bypass them with a kit. I've heard to cuts out at 2000, but I could be wrong.

Chet its too late in the day to work that hard - i'll feel like i'm on dragnet or something...
seems it has to be an 02, since the 01 doesnt have a reverse speed regulator. what do youhink Chetster?
