Default Wolverine questions

I'm going to get an atv, and I'm pretty sure I want a 4x4. My friend who I would ride with the majority of the time has an arctic cat 300 4x4. The Wolverine really has my attention but the only thing I'm unsure about it is the full time 4wd. I really like the fact that it's lighter than a lot of the other utility quads and the fact that it's go a 350 in a lighter quad than my friend is cool too. This quad will be used mostly for play, so I also like the idea of the more sportier suspension, or so I hear. The thing about the non selectable 4wd is I would like to know how well it will slide around in the mud? That's one thing I really look forward to and if the full time 4wd won't allow very much sliding then I will probably be forced to go with another quad. If not the Wolverine, what other quads would you guys recommend? Another one that I was interested in was the Bruin 4x4.

Thanks

Go with the wolverine Warn makes 424 select so it can go both 2x4 and 4x4. The Bruin is just the old big bear with new plastic.

I agree with Fxcdog. I have an 03 Wolverine and I can get it to slide around pretty good, its all in the throttle and weight placement. Get the Wolvy and the 424 you'll be very happy.

I took my wolv out Yesterday. I have the 424. It was awsome. I was in two wheel drive doing up to around 40 ( according to the quads behind me) on one lane twisting trails with big mud holes. I even went through a pond with the water level near the bottom of the seat. no problems. never even needed 4x4. I also rode a '01 scrambler, a '03 rincon, an '03 foreman, and anther guy had a 2wd '03 kodiak. We drove em like we stole em all day and they all rock.
