Default have you ever crashed loading your quad??

I bought my quad, then bought a new truck and ramps a day later, then couldn't bring myself to risk scraping the bed or tailgate of the truck so the following day bought a nice open trailer. My back isn't so good either, crashing a quad loading it isn't my ideal of a fun time. I use the trailer every time, no matter if it's off to the mountains, or to the shop. I hope it all turns out alright for you 14mins.

Funny one!

I have one of those light duty trailers that is a flat bed that is completely above the tires and the sides of the trailer come down to form a ramp.

Well, when I was still quite new to the sport I was loading the quad and ended up on the bed of the trailer on my back . . .the quad had wheelied as I was driving it up the trailer. Luckily, the grab bar kept it from rolling back over the top of me. Scared the crap out of me. . . I never load uphill with the trailer anymore and try to find or dig a little hole to put the tire in so the ramps aren't so steep when loading.

My dad was loading our first four wheeler (Arctic Cat 250 2wd, weighs like a ton) into the back of my Grandpas truck with some wooden ramps we had found around the house. When my dad drove it up the ramps they snapped and he and the Cat ended up standing straight up in the air. Pretty scary stuff.

I back into our ditch. It works great. It makes our full size truck's tailgate a foot or so off the ground, which makes it a lot easier.

I was loading the raptor when the beast spun the back wheels for some odd reason and kicked the ramp out from under it, but i slid down the tail gate and bent the grab bar, lol.

I have never had a problem loading mine because I dont use ramps. However, I have seen someone fly up their ramps and jump it through their back window. I couldnt even laugh. I was just staring in disbelief thinking to myself did that really just happen?

I've never done it, I always pick my front end up on My Warrior and then pick up the back. One time though I was out at Bong(rec. area) and this guy was loading a Grizz into a truck a DNR Guy too what a coincidence. He was using 2 ramps and 1 kick out about 3/4's of the way up and the thing was tidering there the guy looked scared $h!tless luckily his buddy pushed him up the rest of the way.

Well this isnt a story of me crashing, but a great story of watching another person having an unloading crash.

When I went to Glamis my brother and I went with some ridin girl named michelle. She had a lifted dodge ram and a banshee in the back. So we get to the camp site out in the sand, and she gets ready to unload her quad. As I watch in ashtonishment, she gets in front of the quad, with it in nuetral, and pushes it RIGHT OFF THE TRUCK!!! It landed perfectly upside down in the sand leaking oil and gas. I had my video camera in my hand too! But it was off, and by the time it powered up, the excitement was over. But I just stood there with my jaw dropped, thinking why the hell would she do that? As a blonde would say, she says "I thought it would land right". I just sat there laughing while my muscle bound brother threw the quad right side up as quickly as he could. I still to this day wonder why she would think throwing a banshee of the back of a 8 inch lifted ram, with 38 inch tires, would land right side up. Crazy people....... lol

Father in law got half way up the ramp when he found out his ramps were for lawn mowers, not king quads. landed standing up on the back. The safety course I had to take to get a refund had stats on the ammount of accidents it is amazinig how dangerous it is to load.
