Default Recap of the aledo races

I have recieved quite a few donations over the last week or so. I never asked or expected people to pay to come play. I enjoy this and my wife a kid like doing it. I am fourtunate to have a place to ride and lots of good friends. The donations totaled close to 300 dollars. Some members that did not attend donated. I am writing a check Tuesday for 150.00 to the Aledo Volenteer Fire Deptment. They are kind enough to bring a truck out to water the track when i ask them. Hopefully they will be able to buy something they need. If you think i should donate the rest away, who to?? If not i will keep it and say thanks. The one item i had a hard time writing a check for was the port a jon. My wife and 1 other woman told me i had to rent one. and the rest will go for bigger and differnt throphies next time.

I appreciate all the friends i have met over the last few years.

The original trailer park is closing. I have my house for sell and i am building a new one 1000 feet away in the trees. The new improved trailer park will be up and running in the next few weeks. I am going to do things better there. It is 10 times the riding area. It will have miles of trails, a killer fishing hole and hopefully a nice mobile home for the clubhouse. I am looking for starting lights. Anyone know where some can be had at a decent price?? I am planning on building a 300 foot sand strip and a 660 foot dirt strip side bu side. It will give us 3 choices, 300foot sand, 300 foot dirt and 660 foot dirt. It is never going to be a commercial venue, just a fun playground.

Again a big thanks for all that showed up to play, a big thanks to those that helped, and a big thanks to those that donated. I think the events get better each year. That was number 3, i hope to do it yearly for many years to come. I plan to do it the 1st weekend of june next year. I tell my self every new years to NOT BLOW UP all the left over fireworks, but june 1st they are always gone. I stumbled acoss a killer deal on big fireworks after the 4th of july. I am going to make a trip out of state to get them for the next races.

you ain't seen nothing yet!!!
