Yeah, either make it wider or just get used to it. I had mine wider, with spacers, and after a few bent tie rods I went back to skinny. It really isnt as bad as some people (those that usually dont have raptors) let on. I like 400EX's, they do handle better, but the power of even a stock rappy is enough for me to overlook its very small shortcomings.

True

As long as you like faster and more power you will be happy with a raptor. .. The Raptors I have had will even idle when they are cold, none of the 4 or 5, 400 ex's I have had did, you have to stay on the gas when cold.

should you buy a Raptor? YES. You will never regret it. I have not.

it is the ONLY vehicle i have ever owned [and thats a bunch] thats makes my hreart race when i sit on it.
MY heart racing is not necessarily a good thing..but the Blaster sitting next to it doesnt iliicit the same response, though it hauls the bawls. I am a torque junkie!

I can honestly say that I enjoy my Raptor better than anything else I have ridden;that includes banshees, balsters, suzuki400, bombardier, 400ex and some others. Go ahead and jump on the Raptor bandwagon; you want be dissappointed. Just stay away from the 01's. Slim

Buy the raptor, get a thrill of a lifetime, go back to the 400ex for a ride, then you'll be saving it for an extra ride, the 400ex. Ride it if your raptor is down for parts or repairs.
