Do you know if sparks got much of a gain by jumping the exhaust cam 1 tooth. What exactly is this suppose to benefit. Thanks. I am going to do it next week if it makes much of a difference before my
X-6 pipe gets here.

 

I talked to Curtis the other night and I asked him just that. He said by changing the exhaust cam timing it gives the motor a ton more torque all the way thru from bottom to top. But you might want to call Sparksracing and ask scott exactly what they do. Because unless I
misunderstood him. he told me he actually retards the exhaust cam timing. But I would find out exactly what he does from them.

 

Thats right, retard it one tooth.

I saw some dyno chats last night that showed this compared to a bunch of other mods. It did more than just add torque. It added alot more over rev as well.
They also had a dyno of an HMF slip on, on with no lid, one with no sparky, one with a different exhaust, ect....
It might have been on GT Thunder, but I am not sure.
