DragRaptor727, you dont have to have the FCR carbs if you want to run the hirev cam from Sparks. The FCR's will give better throttle responce and maybe a few more horses but they are not a neccecity. Slim

Get the high rev cam (i think theyre doing hotcams now, get the stage two). The midrange cam is alright but the stage two is where its at. You dont have to have FCR's, but it sure helps.

 

Buy the cam and carbs. and install them yourself. A cam install is really not that complicated for someone with some mecahanical ability and the carbs. are pretty straight forward to install. If you are not willing to do it yourself get a trusted dealer or any good atv mechanic to do it for you. I agree with 250R4LIFE; if you want to run with Sparks you will need a big cam profile like the Hi-Rev has to keep up ; ecspecially on the other end. If you dont go with a big cam profile a bike that has a big cam will walk away from you if everything else is setup right. A cam can make or break an engines performance. Slim

 

My buddy just had his banshee done at Trinity about 5 weeks ago, first trip at Pismo the top end siezed. Took it back and it was not touched as of last Thursday so He drove down there and picked up and is having someone else fix it. I like my pipe but then again it took over a month to get it.

 

ok ok so i think i will get that high rev cam instead sence is cost the same for both of them. ok now that we got all that covered when it comes to the break in should i leave the spark plug out when first starting it to fill the engine with oil?
