Default Aftermarket one way for Raptor

Just thought I'd let yall know about the aftermarket oneway for the Raptor. It's lighter than the stocker, seems very well made. The rollers are held in individually instead of one spring wrapped around them like the stock setup. There are 2 coil springs that hold each roller up and I heard it was rebuildable unlike the stock part. It's more money than the stocker but they also guarantee it for one year. I dont think my local dealer is gonna do that... Anyhow I'm running a 12:1 686 and hopefully it'll handle the extra load. My stock one gave up after 2 starts with the hi compression piston. I'll be sure to update if there's any problems with it. I also took several digital pics of it and the install if anyone's interested in it or needs info how to replace a damaged one. This is the same oneway shown on raptortranny.com but now it's in production. Bout time!!!

I bought the piston from craycraft, I think it was in the $150 range and LRD bored it for $50. Add a cam $150ish and you're in business.

I have had mine for a few months and it has worked awesome. It is rebuildable but I am not sure you would need to ever do that! I havent wieghed it but they say its .3lbs lighter... and most of the flywheel weight in a raptor is the one-way

I was just looking at the one way on ebay and they seem to be getting greedy with their product. I seen it a couple of weeks ago for 195.00 buy it now, now they have it at 255.00 buy it now. Boy, even in the aftermarket business we still get gouged. I got a kit with all the gears and gaskets for 195.00 shipped from NY. And believe me, I dont think this will go out again that soon after I learned how to set the idle and starting it properly. GOOD LUCK L&A Designs cuz I am not playing or should I say paying that game.

$255 is the kit with gear and gaskets I added to ebay today. The one-way is still $189.95 and still on there
