for the old stuff i like, CCR, moody blues(went to their concert in june, in edmonton, was pretty sweet) aero smith, some led zep. defenatly Steppenwolf(awsome band), couple songs from ELO (their best song IMO is blinded by the light), cant forget Eric Clapton, AC/DC a few others i cant remember off the top of my head right now...

now for the new stuff i like Pennywise, NOFX, some godsmack, three days grace, some Sum41 is good, Linkin park, Goldfinger, Dropkick Murphy's, some default and creed, some of Staind, Bad religon(not really a new band, but good), Rammstein, Offspring, red hot chili pepers, these r the ones i can remember off the top of my head for the new stuff i listen to...

and i hate rap.

The new metallica cd does suck...IF you can listen to the third song on their and not laugh you must be crazy!!Anyway i like........

I will sometimes listen to rap though if i want to show off my system in my truck......

 

Rush, Primus, all the Bon Scott AC/DC, Metallica went lame after the black album, the Huevos videos always have good soundtracks, stuff like Slipknot I can only make it through like 2 songs though. Benny Goodman from the 30's and 40's, they were hard rockers with different instruments. The mighty Zeppelin. I am so old I was playing drums before Led Zeppelin was even together. Old ZZ Top. Yngwie Malmsteen for guitar fix. Dio's Holy Diver could be the best single hard rock/metal album ever. A lot of the new stuff (Disturbed etc.) is good but all the songs are similar.

I like just about everying cept... boy bands and "pop" style like Brittney and such. She may look good but her music sucks IMO.
