yfz450 header glowing
Anyone with a yfz450 had problems with header glowing red and backfiring. it sounds like a lean condition. i've heard of new bikes doing this at first. i just got it yesterday so i only got maybe a hour on it, trying to break it in right. im going to call the dealer tomorrow to see what they say. other than this the bike is SWEET. thanks

Go out tonight after dark, warm up your bike then hold it at 1/4 throuttle for 1-2 minutes and watch it start to glow. We did that to the first YZ 400 we got back in 98.

I thought people were seeing them glow while riding them not doing some childish mindless thing such as your suggestion.. If I want to see a glow I'll just turn on the light at night.

"childish/mindless", little overkill don't you think, anyway, was just giving a suggestion. They won't always glow while riding, do to air flow.
