Yamaha or Honda

Hi, everyone I was just wondering what you all think I should get...I do have a lot of experience riding quads but I don't know a lot about them. Anyway, My neighbor is selling a 1986 Honda Fourtrax 125, mint condition for $1500 or my local dealer is selling a 1987 Yamaha Banshee, alright condition for $2000 What do you think Iam better off with? I like to do any type of riding. Thank you for your opinion. Post any opinions you have, please.

This may be a biased opinion, but since you did post in the Yamaha forum, I'd say go with the Banshee. It will have much more power than the 125 and is better for different types of terrain. Including sand, which(sandwich??LOL) the Banshee is the best on. Plus there are endless possibilities for modifying it. Go for the Banshee!!!!....

hmmmmm...Thats a close call buy let me help you decide.........
banshee-70mph trx125-30mph
banshee-40 horsepower trx125-Maybe 5 horsepower
banshee-9 inchs of suspension trx125-No suspension but the frame flexes sometimes....
banshee-Can be ridden anywhere almost trx125-Dont ride through to ghetto or you could get shot!
If the banshee is in pretty good condition buy it and fix it up or look for a newer quad....

I think every quad owner should at some time in their lives get a banshee. It's just a differnent experience than any other quad still being made. I had one years ago and I'll probably have another before they kill them off. Get the shee period.
