Hey guys, What do you think about the new bruin, will it be close to the kodiak 400?
Seems like it might be a good entry 4x4. And the price seems reasonable. Any comments

IMO, it is a great buy! Since I believe it has the old big bear engine, it will probably lack top speed, but probably will have good bottom end power. I like the looks of it, and should have good handling characteristics since (i think!) it is using the kodiaks frame! I like the fact that it has 2/4 wheel drive, fairly light a 538 lb's, and has an LCD display! If it had IRS, it would be really cool though! It will probably give the rancher a run for its money. For a MSRP of 4999 it is a great buy, considering all of the features it has. I have one question though, Does it have a "low" gear though?

 

I'm pretty sure that I read it some where that it is only a single stage transmission just like the 400 Kodiak ( new Kodiak that is!!!)
