i have a 2003 raptor and i make alot of trips down to the oreogon state sand dunes and i hate losing so thats one reason why i got a raptor so i can compete with most quads out there. Wondering if anyone here has there raptor on the bottle?? and if so give me the scoop, what other add on's did you have to do? whats the cost? and the horsepower gain? i have heard that it can give you like up to 30 more horsepower?

Are you talking about methanol or nitrous oxide?

Nick, I am having that kit installed as we speak! I am getting a 5 pound bottle and dual nozzle instead of the 2.5 pound bottle. You would not believe how big the bottle is. I am picking it up next Saturday or Sunday.

 

yeah sorry guys nitrous is what iwas talking about.
what mods are you guys doing to your raptors to get the nitrous it's best. mine is totally stock but i am planning on doing a custom exhaust and also change the sprockets and chain in the next year. there is always a need for more speed if you ask me!!

 

dont go nas...makes soooo many problems id start out with a pipe filter kit jet kit, 686 or 727 bore kit...ive heard 727 has some problems though

 

what does a 686 or 727 kit cost for the raptor?? i wont be doing anything fir a while but when ime comes i wanna be ready! what exhaust pipes do you have and what do you think of it? are they legal on the dunes?? i have heard that alot of pipes for rappy are illegal as in to loud on the dune
