Get over yourselves...Yamaha is notorious for having problems with their 1st year quads. calling people stupid and just jealous for reporting what could be potential problems...is stupid. Trust me all machines have flaws. their designed by humans not the gods. be opened minded. if your chiming in...just to say "look it me...i own one...its the best" then save it. theres 1000 post just like that. we want to hear mature rational opinions...dude.

and no im not jealous. i have the ways and the means to own one should i wish. actually got the first call from my dealer. he offered me a white one for $6800 out the door (i can't believe you guys are paying $8500-$9000 on the west coast). when i declined and asked him to call me when the 02's are ready. he laughed and said he's doin the same. he also went on to say theres a few things he's watching to see how they hold up. i'd share them with you...but i'd just be dismissed as a crack pot that doesn't know what he's talking about.

I love mine, no problems. I did have a dead battery but that is due to lack of riding.

I love it!!! Whenever my quad is compared to anything that is at least 39cc's larger and also 2K more makes me happy. You guys are amazing!!! " A good running 400 ex" NO such thing!!! It seems Raptor owners and Z owners are similar, we cant beat a Pred or YFZ and neither can you!!! At least not without dumping a wad of cash in your " BIG BORE". I would have to agree with Ridley. The handling on this thing is unbelievable.

That's funny because the frame/a-arm geometry was copied off the Laeger 250R chassis, if you don't believe me ask Wayne (owner of PEP)! And we all know who Laeger copied from don't we!!

It looks like a sweet quad to me. If there are problems we will know soon enough. I'd have one but the lack of reverse keeps me away. I'm too much of a trail rider not to have that feature.

For the naysayers, give the quad 6 months and some races. Then you will know how it holds up. Its way too early to tell right now.
