I'm going back to the stock chain slider( the after market ones suck), and I need to know how far the collar with the lip on it , slides on the pivot point on the swing arm... i cant get it on far enough to get the donut and cover on...anyone know anything about this? the collar has a lip on it to keep it from sliding down past the edge of the pivot point, so the donut don't go on far enough for the rubber oil seal and cover to go on all the way.its puzzling because my manual doesn't show one, but the schematic at YAMAHA shows it.with out the collar the donut slides back and forth, with too much slop. i hope you understand what i mean. thanx.
