Accessory Lights on a Banshee
#1
Quaders,
I was wondering if anybody has put any accessory lights on their Banshee. I installed a small red one last night and it seems to work just fine, but Im wondring how much the stator can handle. I would like to put one more on the front, but dont want to tax the electrical system AT ALL! Do you guys think this was a bad move? My buddy has a lighted whip that he uses on his Banshee without problems so I figure I can get away with one or two, but if you guys have something to say, feel free to tell the truth...

My banshee has 2 55w Hella 500's on it. I can only run one light. I bought the quad with these lights on it. They are cool looking lights. The one light alone lights up alot. As soon as I get my stator rewound, its gonna be like riding in day time at night.

The stock stator can only handle about 70 watts. 75 at most ever. Having it rewound is pretty cheap and you will have something like 150 watts max. I'd try to keep 30 watts lower than what the stator can handle. How many watts do those lights take anyway?
