Last week I got a 2001 raptor! and I love it!!!
Its got plenty of power and lots of options for aftermarket parts
The bike isnt in PERFECT condition...but that dont bother me none!

Congrats. If it's still on the faster 01 gear set, stop using reverse....it's the reason 01 gears fail.

GaryC660R, Just wanted to know what makes you think reverse has to do with the tranny probs. Haven't heard that argument before. Wondered what you were basing that on.

I find my first gear is set to high...it would be hard to ride in the woods and tight trails. What could I do that would make it be geared down lower so it would be easier to "crawl" through the trails?!

In my eyes it's pretty useless, maybe go to a 14 or 15 tooth to use it properley..
