Default Yamaha Wolverine low end

I have a 2001 wolverine. I had a white brother all around cam put in, and a .020 high compression wiseco piston. I also have a E series pipe and air box mod(little uni filters) with stock tires. After I did the cam and piston, my low end seemed to go back to almost stock(it had a good grunt with just the silencer). I like the top end I have now, but some of my low end seems to gone back. Anybody got any suggestions? I Like where i'm headed(I can pull away from my brother on his sportsman 500), but I'd like to get there a little quicker.

Hey have go got any times racing against your bros Sportsman? I'm buyin a 2001 Wolverine, basically new and need an idea of the power difference between the stock Wolvy and your modified Wolvy. How much faster in the top end?

If the cam has a higher lift and duration it has the potential to take from the bottom end but the mods. could have changed your jetting so chaeck the jetting and see were you are at. You could be loosing power from being too lean or too rich. Hope this helps. Slim

The area I was racing my brother was kinda short, so I didn't have a chance to get fifth gear, but I was pulling away from him in fourth..Only gonna leave him further behind. As for my jetting, I used a dynojet and I'm a little on the rich side. I'll think I may have to lean out the pilot screw a little to still. I'll keep trying.
