Hey everyone I'm new to this site I found a '03 Banshee for only $2500.00.The guy said it was never ridden and its brand new, he also said he had about 20-30 Banshees.I live in San Diego and the deal is up in San Jose.The shipping is included, my question is do you think I should go through with the deal???I mean if the guy screws me I could always go up there and kick his ***.What do you guys think??

Didnt your parent ever tell you "A fool and his money will soon be parted"? Don't even think about sending him money without having the quad in-hand. If a deal is too good to be true then it is. Why would he sell you a brand new quad for $2,500 when he could sell it to others for $5,000 out of the local newspaper. Might even be stolen even if he does have it.

 

Grab a buddy and make a road trip. Sounds like a scam to me. I have one I will sell you for 1/2 that price.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] And I have an endless supply. lol

 

Oh yeah? well i have monkies for sale that are trained to ride banshees...they only cost 2,500 a peice and shipping is absolutely free.

THe guy also said half now then he will ship it then I pay him after I receive the bike by at leat 5 days after I receive it.

 

MAKE THE ROAD TRIP! I just bought a quad via an ebay auction and i opted to send a certified check and have it shipped. Everything was fine, I had no troubles at all. BUT, I cannot tell you how worried I was after I sent the check. It was aweful. The peace of mind you get by having your quad when you let loose of your cash is worth at least the price of the quad. I will NEVER again take that chance and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
