i got my new 660R about a week ago and i got stuck in sum mud ( hell id call it quick sand if it wasnt black ) and im tryin to rock it by goin from first to reverse ya know? an ever sence then i can go in reverse, its like i burned the gear!? wtf? its only like 2 hours old. could there just be somethin loose or simple to check out? also could this affect all the other gears? an the general performance of the machine?

You sure its ok in the forward gears? if not it could be the clutch. Put the motor under load (full throttle roll-on) in 4th or 5th gear to check.

Its possible you may have spun the reverse pinion on its shaft, it is only pressed on and not keyed, this is the first possible failure I have ever heard of. To see the shaft and what I am talking about you can go Here

If you bought it a week ago it should be covered 100% but clean it real well so they cant say you abused the machine.

 

Might just be the cable to allow you to shift into revrese is misadjusted.

 

I would shine it up real nice, and take it back to the dealer. Tell them you don't know what happened. LOL
