Lowering front end for grass drags.
#1
I think I read it in a post on here once that Warrior shocks will lower a Raptor's front end 3". This would give me the weight transfer I need for local grass drags. I figured I'd do this instead of building solid struts in case there are suspension mod rules. Does anyone know if this works?

Probably for about the same price as buying used shocks you could just buy front lowering blocks. They only work with the stock style shocks, but they will lower it about 4". I had them for awhile, but they don't fit my Elka's so I need to get rid of them. Just an idea!

Is there ever a loss of traction in grass drags? I remember over the winter when I had ice studs in I drove on the grass with them and it got sooo much grip. I was wondering if that was legal in grass drags...

87Banshee250sx, The reason for lowering the front end is to lose traction, not gain it. It gives you needed slippage to keep the front end down on takeoff. It is also harder to pick up front end weight that is sitting lower than if it were higher.
Thanks everyone.
