Should i get a blaster or keep my lakota,i'm wanting the blaster because i'm going to put alot of mods on it and people say these things can fly with mods is this true.If i get one the only thing that worries me is the size so i will buy a +3 extended swingarm and widen it and get bigger handlebars.Should that take care of the size thing.Also how will the blaster hang with a warrior in a drag stock for stock and how would a modded blaster do against a stock warrior.

 

get the blaster. used there cheap. and with mods they WILL fly. i wouldnt lengthen it, jus widthened get Rappy bars. a piped blaster will MURDER a stock warrior if jetted right. and stock for stock the warrior would probably edge by depending on rider weight and skill.

 

if u get a blaster u wont regret it trust me one of my friends has a 240 kit in his and he outruns 400EX's and keeps up with my raptor

 

Blasters look like their fun machines, although I've never driven one they seem cool.
I love my Lakota on the other hand it is a blast also, The Lakota has some qualities over the Blaster as does the Blaster have qualities over the Kota
Here is what I can tell you from My experiance with my Lakota and a pal who has a Blaster

1. Seems like my Lakota will out jump the Blaster any jump, weird cause the blaster is lighter but the kota suspension is more dominate

2. The Blaster is faster since its manual the the Kota can keep up wit it pretty good,
Low end the lakota has way more power

3. Blasters may be more fun since its 6speed manuel, but the kota has the big R
(reverse)

I donno what to say, maybye mod your kota out or keep it and buy a used blaster
i kinda want a blaster too, i might just buy a used one and keep the kota

 

u dont need reverse its so light. go with the blaster mods are inexpensive.

 

how big are lakotas?

 

Get a blaster. I got one at 25 and loved it. I know have a YFZ and there are still times that I like to go back and ride the ol Blaster.

 

I think i will go with the blaster,i'm going to get the 04 in red/white.Why should'nt i lengthen the blaster i want a longer wheelbase should i not do this.Also what is the best exhaust for top end and good for drag racing,i was thinking of lrd.

 

Also are the raptor handlebars alot bigger than the blaster?

 

if you dont mind losin a little bottom end ive heard great things about the toomey. im buyin one soon. btw the cherry red powder coated frames are nice
