Default my 1/8 mile drag time

i went to the beach last night for t&t and got the jetting dialed in on the rappy.i didn't really have time to take the circle track set up off my quad but i was really impressed with the times i ran the closer i got my jetting down.
keep in mind that these times are with my shorttrack setup and not a drag setup.i'm going to tell my set up because you will be amazed with my times.
first of all i have the right side of the quad set out 2 inches and the left side tucked in 2 inches.i have a half inch rollout in the right rear over the left rear.in the front i have a 10 inch tire on the right and a 6inch tire on the left.4 inches of rollout in the front and the right front is staggered in for running on a banked oval.my swingarm has also been shortened an inch&half.

first pass:reaction-.340(foul)
60 feet-2.043
594 feet-8.39
1/8 et-9.013 @72.69 mph (4th gear)

checked my jetting and was rich on top.after i done some tweaking,

second pass:reaction-.747(sleeping)
60 feet-2.046
594 feet-8.336
1/8 et-8.943 @74.13 mph

checked jetting again ans still was rich.done some more tweaking for the last pass.

final pass:reaction-.479(better)
60 feet-1.914
594 feet-8.180
1/8 et-8.800 @72.56 mph (4th gear)

8.80 with my roundtrack set up is just killer.raptor pulls to the left hard and wheelies in 1st and 2nd.i believe if i had a straight line set up and a wheelie bar i might get in the high 7's,maybe the low 7's even.

befort the track quits t&t this year i want to get a good run with a straight line set up.

what do you guys think?

thats some good times.

I improved a little last weekend and ended up with:
R - .644
60ft - 1.929
330ft - 5.735
1/8ET - 9.173
1/8MPH - 70.53
the final trap speed was 75.63mph at the 1000ft mark

mind you it was 93° outside. Then again not bad for a piped and jetted Raptor eh? I will have to fab a wheelie bar so I can launch harder next time. (I weigh 210# so I am sure I am not as fast as some 120# kid on a similar quad)

1 piped banshee I beat was:
.607
2.143
6.134
9.700
67.83

Wow! I honestly thought the 60' time would be better than that, more in the 1.6X range.

it probably can be but it will take a better rider and an extended swingarm/wheelie bar...

Was that on stock Dunlops too? I can't imagine trying to keep the front end down launching on a sticky dragstrip on knobbies! I really want to run my American Racer TT tires at the track at least once before I sell them, just to see what it'll do.

Do you guys have any throttle tricks you use to keep the front end down on launch. I lean all my weight to the front but she still wants to come off the ground to much. I am having a lot of trouble with my initial launch. Any pointers you guys have are welcome. I either don't give it enough throttle and get behind on my takeoff or I give it too much and land on my wheelie bar. I have got a few good starts but I feel like I just got lucky on those and don't really remember what amount of throttle and stuff I was using. I'm racing side by side drags and I might be concentrating to much on the other guy instead of myself, I'm not sure.

I manipulate the clutch more than the throttle. Just bring it up to a strong rpm and let the clutch out slow enough to keep the front end about 2" off the ground without bogging the engine. I know it's hard enough to do on a hardpack dirttrack, it would be a real PITA with some VHT down on a dragstrip!
