Default Raptor...Can't seem to get the jetting dialed in!!

I have been experimenting with different jetting combinations but can't seem to get it perfect. I am at 1000Ft above sea level.I was running 146/148, needle in the 4 notch , air screw 3 turns out .I started with full lid ( no holes ) it seemed rich. I opened hole all the way untill I just took the lid off. With the lid off it ran pretty good , maybe a little rich. I didn't want to have the lid off so I dropped the jetting to 144/146 and put the lid on with holes sealed. It really runs rough now. It stumbles when you are changing from 1st to 2nd and really giving it the gas. When you wind out the gears it seems to hold back. I pulled the plug and the tip was white.I parked it and come to write this post. I don't want to ride it lean. Someone please guide me. Pro Circuit T-4 pipe ( factory header ) Hi Flo Air Filter.Everything else is stock.

Thanks,
James Prentice

You should be close with those jets. Did you trim the flaps out of the snorkle? With that trimmed 146/148 and 3rd groove. And adjust the float level if you haven't allready.
