Default Will a YFZ beat a Banshee

I am looking to buy a fast quad. Has anybody raced or seen these two race. All my buddies have mild Banshees(FMF fattys KN jetted) will a YFZ without airbox lid jetted and without baffle beat one 1. off the line 2. through the gears 3. top speed. Thanx for any input.

The banshee with a top speed of 77 or 78, and the yfz with a top speed of 74. the banshee with pipes would beat a yfz stock and modded.

from what i have seen so far on the dunes i ride on here in oregon the yfz with the baffle removed and jetted would take a banshee that is just piped and jetted.i have watched the yfz race for the last few weekends now and they are very fast off the line and seem to be good in the midrange too but the sand hill that we race on is only about 300 feet long so i cant say about the top end.yesterday i was letting a friend ride my 686 raptor which is dialed in very well and is pretty fast while he raced a yfz and he took the yfz by about two quad lengths in a 300 foot race up a sand hill so they are very fast.when the aftermarket comes out with some good pipes for the yfz and people get them dialed in they will be very competitive in my opinion.

I don't see how a Banshee with equal riders could loose this race in a straight line on hard top surface with what is stated.

i'm going to say the banshee.

espically if you put pipes on them against a stock yfz with those small mod's.

RAPTORYFM660R-i dont know if you have seen any of the yfzs run yet but they probably are the quickest quad in stock form off the line that i have ever seen at least in the sand.last weekend at the dunes i watched some yfzs racing banshees and the yfzs were getting the holeshot every time.
