Default Big Bear 400 4X4 Conversion

I have a 2003 Big Bear 400 2X4 and wondered what would be the time and cost of adding the front drive parts. I was washing it yesterday and i saw where the front shaft would come out and where the axles would mount to the wheel assembly. Anybody ever done this?

Default Big Bear 400 4X4 Conversion

I had a 2001 Big Bear 2wd and I wanted to do the same thing. It can be done but get ready to fork out $1500 for transfer case Front dif switch solenoid shafts. My shop said I was better off trading it in on a 4x4. So i did. I got something better and saved alot of hastle and $.

I would probably only do it if i could buy parts off a wrecked machine. Thanks for the reply.
