one of my friends has a 250r with everything that lrd will do on it.......I think it is bored 6 over?
and he wants to trade even for my rappy........

he has new plastics,tires, and wheels also........do you think I would get hammered if I did that?
I don't mx ride......I just ride on hard packed roads and pavement........I dunno......

 

id prolly go for it, but if i were u, i would ask him to swap for like a week or so and see what u think...

I would do what stockrappy said and borrow it. It depends on how nice the r is i would only do it if it was in absolutly perfect condition.

 

Personally, I don't like the ergonomics of the 250R, after getting used to my Raptor.

The Raptor is so much more an all around bike, and the 250R to me, is not nearly as useful. But IF I ONLY rode on SAND, that 250R deal might become atractive....

 

Unless your wanting to invest some money to make an MX bike, I wouldn't. The raptor is a way better all around bike. And the 250r is not a real comfortable bike to ride ergonomically. To me, MX is the only place a 250r is nice. I even prefer a raptor in the sand.
