that post was a little off topic but still I wouldn't drive that car if it was given to me.

 

this kid down my road was talking shat, so I dragged my 250r against his 1999 Yamaha Blaster, with every possible mode availiable. He tried to set it up for racing. So i showed him who the boss was and dusted his blaster, easy, and i still dont have the shifting down. When i use to ride before I had an automatic honda 3 wheeler. So i am still trying to get the smooth shifting down.


Hondas are more dependable and faster and generally better quads than Yamaha's. Get a want ad book and look at how many Yamahas there are for sale. Why? because Hondas are better.

there are more honda quads for sale on ebay than yamahas right now.

 

I'll concede that one .. it is ugly, looks sorta like an old milk truck or something .. but as for being the ugliest . I dunno .. I think the pontiac Aztec gives it a good run for the money!!

 

The Aztec and the Element are duking out for first place, no doubt!

 

Hondas are reliable i agree, but they are way behind in the market right now, they are getting beat out in every single class except maybe for the minis. Honda was good in their day but their days is gone....now Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawi are on top...i mean honda is still putting drum brakes on their quads...you have to agree something is wrong there!

 

Have u ever driven an Element, Pilot, or Aztec? They drive and ride very nice. To me, its not looks, but performace that counts.

But we can hope this september that Honda will come out with something new.

Outdated, and you're talking Yamaha? Hmm...Banshee (out dated); Blaster (out dated); Warrior (out dated); Breeze (out dated)...I'm sure there's more. 400EX has only been out for 5 years...Banshee...17 yrs and pretty much unchanged.

some of yamahas quads may be out dated but look at honda they had the 250r witch they quite making along with the 250x and had the 300ex (little bit old and slow) then they fianlly come out with the 400 ex 10 years later and you complanin about yamaha wich camee out with the raptor and the yfz wich redefined the atv world. Just face it all of the other companys are a little bit a head of honda. But they are reliable.

It took honda 10 years to come back with a high performance quad what is it gunna take another ten years for them to make a quad thats liquid cooled or what?
