A bunch of us were planning on a trip in early April around spring break to Coones bay I think thats what its called. Is there any db laws and are they inforced? Also is that a good time of the year to go?

I think you are talking about Coos Bay; sound restrictions are in place, but are loosly enforced in my experience (except on holiday weekends). It is a 93 db limit with a 2 db tolerance, getting you to 95 db's legally. April could be sunny or rainy, it is really hard to say around here. Most of the time it will be overcast with light rain and sun breaks. The best time to ride in the Oregon Dunes in summer. It's about 70ish most days and great for riding!

Raptor Owner,
I have gone there about six times it is great. We stay at the K.O.A. in Northbend. It has everything, but you had better make reservations way ahead of time, or you will have to stay at a public camp ground. There are several good camps around, Horsefalls, Spinreel, or at Winchester Bay is good too. Best thrills is W.B. they have the best hill climbs. We go about June 6, beat the crowds. The people are very nice and will help you. The Yamaha place at Nothbend is nice, and not expensive. THe Polaris place is real cool too.
