Gotcha,

Yes, your dealer has been paid in full and is no longer in the picture.

Ward660R, well the reason I know I'm only being charged for one is that the opening balance on the account was 5000 dollars... not 10,000 like it should have been. I even called the finance company to ask if that was definitely the total and that there wasn't anything waiting... for a bit I thought maybe they were only gonna charge me for 1 at a time, but I asked them if that was standard practice and they said no.

I think the confusion may have been the result of 3 applications being sent into the finance co. Originally the dealership tried to do 2 separate cards, one for each 4-wheeler so I filled out one for each but the finance co. wouldn't go for that they said it had to all go on one... so I had to fill out a third app that had a limit that would accomodate the price of both.

Let me ask you all who think it is ok to "steal the second quad".
If while your at work someone decides to have sex with your wife because they didn't know she was married is it still adultry?
Not paying for the second quad is stealing no matter if you get caught or not.
You know, I send a lot of parts out on the connection with the honor system and after reading this post I really might have to think twice!

Preach it reverend!!!

I agree man. Stealing is stealing and if you have aquired something without paying for it, someone ate that cost and its STEALING. Be it a big corp or the little man, its all the same act.

I got it covered. I’m going to accept Jesus on my deathbed. So until then I can break commandments more often than I brush my teeth (twice a day) and its all good.

Get it straightened out. It is the right thing to do. The longer you put it off, the bigger the mess it will be later.

And what happens if you get taken out by a drunk driver or something without advanced notice?

BK, that’s a good point, which brings me to a question. What if I sin after I have bowed down and confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord? Since no one is without sin, it would seem to me that it would be pointless unless it remains valid. If that is the case then I could just bow down and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and I’m good to go regardless of my future actions.

The way I see it, the way these charge card companies bait people in with low interest rates then raise the rates a few months later isn't fair. 17-20% interest is way too much. They should keep it down to the 3.9% or whatever they start it at. If they did that they will still get their money they just won't make as much money. But these credit card companies don't do that. WHY? GREED! I say keep quiet and just pay for one quad. If it makes you feel better, put some money in a savings account, like you are paying for the other quad. Don't touch the money in the savings account until you get a bill for the other quad. If you don't hear anything after the first one is payed off then go blow it. THAT"S WHAT I"D DO!
