Default Whats up with PRM?

Just wondering why they include standard hardware for the front two bolts on their belly skids, who carries a 7/16" on the trail with them, let alone 2 of em?

I just put one on a raptor and wasnt impressed, all their other products seem very well constructed and designed

The bumbers and rear skids are pretty dang decent, I like them.. Like I said "other products"

and when you ride a raptor, ya never know when the skid has got to come off on the trail to get home LOL

I have never had any problem of PRM products at all. Even the skid plate take more punish then other brand that I have seen. Mine last over 1000k of racing few yrs back. all the bolt stay on. The fun part I had to whack 2 bolts since the head was smash pretty good. Time for new bolts.

did you ever use blue bottle to put on the bolt before tighten?

I have a bin of metric stuff that I used, I just thought it was funny giving out standard bolts on a metric bike, Im sure it will hold up to the punishment though.

Their rear skid for my Wolv also came with 1/4" bolts. I don't carry non metric tools, either.

I have PRM bumpers, skidplates and swingarm skid plates for both of my Zillas. I bought the second Zilla from the east coast and it came with a PRM skid plate on it. It was missing the middle frame bracket so I caled PRM and they sent me a new bracket/clamp for free!!!

Give them a call, it worked for me!!!!

I've already stripped one of my PRM rear skid plate bolts. Don't over tighten, and use medium strength loctite, the blue stuff!

I bought full PRM skids for my Raptor and Warrior and they had all the right parts.

I like them, except haveing to drop the belly skid to change oil, no problem I should be looking around down there periodically anyways.

I agree it's a pain when the aftermarket stuff comes with non-metric hardware - WTF.

That stuff drives me crazy - It's not like any of the accessories are especially low priced - gimme the good hardware darn-it !

Nuthin against PRM (I use and like their skids) but they are typical in this area.
