Even though I have a Raptor and really like it and I told you not to go with the YFZ.....if I were in your shoes and could aford to have a choice and they had a Raptor and a YFZ sitting side by side and all I had to do is choose.........I would take the YFZ.

Hey dude more power to you if u want the YFZ i should be getting 1 in the next week or so.
But please dont get in this idea that bigger is better. The bike will do the ridding and u will be sitting on it. Ur learning curve will be alot bigger if you get a "wifes" bike and get your skills down. and get to the point to when you can toss the bike around. the 1st time that yfz comes up and loops out u will alway have a thought in the back of your mind and be aferaid of it. and new riders never look as far as they should. you will be on a fast bike and get your self in a spot and will not be able to pull out and get hurt. you and buy a 400 (both are great bikes and you can do alot to them down the road) and sell it and not lose any money. my buddy just sold his 02 ex and only lost $300 on it. after u get your own bike you will see what i am sayn.
