Lonestar or Durablue
#3
I have the durablue and it has alot of play between the axle and bearings(about .003-.004). That might not sound like alot, but you can see it at the end of the axle. Durablue said this was normal and they are the experts or they are blowing smoke up my Butt. If I could do it again I would be the Lonestar. Just my 2cents.

I have a Lonestar on mine. I've bent it twice in 3 years. Once in a really bad crash. The second from ???. I do very little jumping. Mostly throwing sand and drag racing. Lonestar will only replace it if it breaks. Otherwise they just straighten it. Also on my Rappy, and everyone elses Rappy that I've talked to that has a Lonestar axle, have to tighten their hubnuts frequently because they won't stay tight. If I had to do it over again I'd buy an RPM.

I run lonestar now,but agree Dominator is stronger. Broken 3 durablue axles, almost two seasons on lonestar.

I just installed my Lonestar on the Raptor and it made a world of difference over stock. I obviously cannot comment on durability yet, but I do weigh 260 lbs so there is a good chance I'll find out how strong they really are.

My opinion, buy the RPM Dominator its worth the extra cash. If your an aggresive rider, like to jump, ride mx, etc. RPM can take the punishment. I've seen several dura-breaks and a couple of bent lonestars over the last few years but haven't seen a Dominator axle fail yet.
