why/when the change in blaster front shocks
#1
I have a 96 blaster and my brother just bought a 04 blaster, we were looking at the two of them together and noticed that the front shocks/springs are diffrent, my 96 has more coils that are thicker, and tighter spaced then the 04. I keep up with alot of ATV news but somehow missed reading anything about the change, I am assuming it took place when they went with the disc brakes, but does anybody know why the change was made, It dosen't seem like yamaha is advertising it, so it must not be a better set up. Just curious,
also we bought both machines new from the dealer so there was never a swap made.
